Description: Hotel Arkadenhof is a lovely, quiet 4-star hotel in the very center of Vienna in the 9th district. We offer authentic Viennese charm and tradition, combined with modern comfort for true relaxation in your room, Even though you will be isolated from the noisy traffic and busy city center, the excellent public transportation system of the city allows you to get to the historic center in minutes. Our Rooms We have 35 spacious rooms and 10 suites (total of 75 beds) over 5 floors. All floors can be accessed by an elevator. The rooms are equipped with radio, mini-bar, TV, telephone, bathroom (shower or bath), comfortable furniture and adjustable climate control (air-conditioning). The single rooms are on average 18 m2, the double rooms are 22 m2, the Junior Suites are between 33 and 45 m2, and the suites are 40 m2 in size. Many of the rooms are non-smoking. Check-out time is until 11 a.m., and we can store your luggage at the front desk in case you leave Vienna after this time. About Hotel Arkadenhof We have our own parking lot for hotel guests arriving by car. In the hotel, there is an elegant sitting area, a hotel bar, intimate lounges and a fully-equipped conference room for 25 persons. We serve a scrumptious buffet breakfast in the morning, included in the room rate. Also in the breakfast room, you will find fresh local and international magazines and newspapers. The local current is 220 Volts in Vienna, but adapters can be borrowed for overseas guests at the reception desk. If you would like to enjoy a cigarette or a great cigar during your stay, they can be purchased at the lobby bar. For payment, we accept the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard/Eurocard and Diners Club. Laundry service is available from Monday to Saturday on request. Our hotel is located in a quiet side-street, and you can get to the historic center in just minutes by public transportation. Grinzing and Sievering, the culinary districts of Vienna, can also be reached quickly from here. Prior to your arrival, you can sign up for interesting guided tours of Vienna. History of The Hotel A hundred years ago, a small chapel stood in the place of Hotel Arkadenhof, surrounded by trees. The spirit of this chapel still lives in this place, even after the construction of Hotel Arkadenhof in 1992. We believe that we have succeeded in combining old Vienna charm and modern, stylish design. |
