Description: Welcome to Augartenhotel Art&Desing, a 4-star hotel of contemporary design in the center of Graz. We are not only a design hotel, but also an art gallery with works of more than 140 famous artists. Enjoy your stay in Graz and the extraordinary ambience! Our Rooms We have 56 air-conditioned rooms with an atmosphere of contemporary art and design. Room types: 1) Business Room: 25 m2, king-size bed, most with balcony. 115 EURO/night in single occupancy. 140 EURO/night in double occupancy. 2) Medium Double Room: 30-35 m2, king-size bed, balcony or view of the Schlossberg. Some of these rooms have a kitchenette as well. 140 EURO/night in single occupancy. 165 EURO/night in double occupancy. 3) Large Double Room: 40-55 m2, king-size bed, balcony or view of the Schlossberg. 165 EURO/night in single occupancy. 190 EURO/night in double occupancy. We also have five apartments with separate bedroom, living room and kitchenette. These apartments are especially suitable for long-term stays. Children under the age of 6 can stay free of charge in the room. Room rates include use of the indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium and gym. Breakfast buffet is not included, it costs 15 EURO/person (free for children under the age of 12). About Hotel Augarten Art&Desing We have parking space in the garage of the hotel, at the hourly rate of 2 EURO for conference participants, and 10 EURO/day for hotel guests. We have three conference rooms with capacities between 20 and 50 people. All of these meeting rooms are on the ground floor, air-conditioned and with lots of natural light. The hotel bar is open non-stops, and so are the wellness facilities. Right next to the hotel, you will find Restaurant Magnolia, which is very popular among locals. The restaurant provides room service to our guests, and catering for event organizers. It is open from Monday to Friday. The public areas and the rooms of Augartenhotel Art&Desing are decorated by contemporary artworks: Frank Stella at the Bar, Franz West on the terrace, paintings in all corridors, Gunter Damish painting in the swimming pool. All the fine details in the hotel reflect the works of artists: Shiro Kuramata, Ron Arad, Andreas Thaler and Piero Lisoni. Their works are a true feast for the eye. New works of art are constantly added to our collection, so keep coming back to see the latest additions. Our team members know a lot about the artists and their works, and will be delighted to provide a guided tour within the building. |
