Description: Austrotel Salzburg am Mirabellplatz is a charming boutique-hotel in the old town of Salzburg. The building of our hotel was built as a palace for the Archbishop Paris Lodron in 1653, and thus it now combines historical charm with modern character. The most popular tourist sights and most important business addresses are all within walking distance from here. Rooms Hotel Austrotel Salzburg has 69 spacious and comfortable rooms. Non-smoking and anti-allergy rooms are available on request. The rooms on the 4th and 5th floors are equipped with typical Salzburg dormer windows. The business rooms have an additional work desk inside for business travelers. The family rooms are two connecting double rooms. We also have one room with wheelchair access. Room types: 10x single rooms, 54x double rooms, 5x family room, 1x wheelchair accessible room, 1x junior suite, 1x suite and 1x apartment (100 m2). Room facilities include: cable-TV, mini-bar, telephone, radio, safe, luggage rack, desk/table, Internet access (some of the rooms only), bathroom with bathtub or shower, toilet, make-up/magnifying mirror, hairdryer and liquid soap. During the spring of 2009, we have completed a spacious suite and a luxurious apartment on the top floor of the building. These offer a breathtaking view of Salzburg! The Rockstar Amadeus Suite has a hallway, two separate bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom and air-conditioning. Rate for 2 persons: 290 EURO/suite/night. The Rockstar Amadeus Apartment has a hallway, two separate bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom, a comfortable living area with a panorama window, a kitchen with dining area and air-conditioning. Rate for 2 persons: 470 EURO/apartment/night. These prices include taxes, service charges and use of our Chill Out Lounge with a selection of drinks and newspapers. Hotel Services You will be impressed by the way the historical vaulted ceiling and Untersberger marble blend with the more modern elements. We have free Internet terminals, information screen with daily news, two elevators, safe at the reception, beautiful breakfast room, luggage room, shoe-shine machine, Swarovski Crystal display window and free W-Lan in the the public areas. Breakfast is served from 7 until 10:30 a.m., and until 11 a.m. in weekends. The breakfast offer includes hot and cold dishes, egg dishes, home-made biscuits and fresh Austrian coffee specialities from the self-service machine. Parking places for hotel guests are available in Mirabell Garage behind the hotel, for a reduced rate of 13 EURO/day.
