Description: Pension Aviano, located at the corner of Kärntnerstrasse and Marco d´Avianogasse in the first district of Vienna, is the perfect choice for those who are looking for a family-run pension in the city center of Vienna, right in the pedestrian zone. Our main goal is to provide the highest level of comfort to all of our guests, so that they feel here just like at home and return to us. Our pension has a traditional Viennese style, combining comfort with a local atmosphere. Our Rooms Pension Aviano offers single and double rooms, which are all equipped with carpet floor, TV, telephone, mini-bar, safe, mirror, night-stand, table with chairs (writing desk in the single rooms), wardrobe and private bathroom (with shower or bathtub, hairdryer). All rooms feature free Wi-Fi Internet access. Non-smoking and twin rooms with separate beds are available on request. Room types at Pension Aviano: 1) single room: 13 m2 in size, with a writing desk, facing the courtyard, very quiet 2) double room category I: 20 m2 in size, with one double bed or twin beds 3) double room category II: 26-28 m2 in size, double bed, with an additional lounge/sofa corner 4) double room category III: 40 m2 in size, double bed with additional lounge/sofa corner, these rooms are located at the corners of the building, with a view of St. Stephan's Cathedral and Kärtnerstrasse. Double rooms in category I and II either have a view of Kärtnerstrasse, Marco d'Avianogasse or to our courtyard. Services of Pension Aviano Our front-desk is open all day long. We can help you purchase Vienna Sightseeing Tours, entrance tickets, etc. Pets are allowed in the rooms. During the morning, we serve a rich buffet-breakfast for you to start the day right. We offer a discount for families with children. Up to the age of 2, accommodation is free of charge in the room of the parents, while between 3 and 12, we offer a 75% discount from the price of the extra bed. Parking We do not have a garage, but we have an agreement with the nearby Opern-Garage, where you can park your car at a discount rate. Go to the garage, pick-up the regular parking card, bring it to Pension Aviano, and we will give you a special hotel parking card. This costs only 19 EURO/day. If you park your car longer than what you have paid for at the pension, the difference shall be settled at the garage directly. Do not forget: the entire city center of Vienna is a parking pay-zone. The area where Pension Aviano is located, is a pay-zone between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m., and maximum parking is 2 hours in one place. We strongly recommend parking your car in the Opern-Garage. How to Get to The Pension From Südbahnhof (Southern Railway Station): take tram D to station Staatsoper (State Opera). Walk along Kärtnerstrasse in the direction of Stephansplatz, and you will find us in the fourth crossing street. From Westbahnhof (Western Railway Station): take metro line U3 in the direction of Simmering, and get off at station Stephansplatz. You will find us in the fourth crossing street. From the Schwechat-VIE Airport: simply provide your flight details and we will arrange a private taxi transfer from the airport to Pension Aviano. |
