Enjoy our 40 Km long ski slopes, which offer something for both
professionals and amateurs alike. You can visit us with your children
as we have many activities for them. Slopes start from Rosenkranz or
Kreischberg, from an altitude of over 200 meters. There are 12 ski
lifts to take you up to the slopes. We offer panorama slopes for
families: dino-parks, snow-slides, snow-tunnels, ghost-tunnels and
sledge paths. We also offer night skiing and sledging on some days.
You can also visit our city out of the ski season, you will not be
bored, guaranteed. Our most important tourist sights are the 13th
century Murau Castle, the Gothic church and the Leonhard Temple.
Every year in July, the European Shakespeare Days take place here,
where you can watch the performances in English. Concerts and
read-alouds accompany the event.
We have special holiday performances during withsun, advent and the
fall. The fall performances are mainly operetts. During the summer,
we can offer you an indoor pool and a natural lake to swim in.
