Description: Hotel Cortina is a modern 4-star hotel near the Schönbrunn Palace, in one of the most beautiful districts of Vienna. Our quiet location, tasteful ambience and reliable service ensure all our guests have an unforgettable stay in Vienna. We are a family-run hotel for more than 25 years, managed by the Konnerth family. Nowadays, Barbara Morandell and Alexander Konnerth (sister and brother) manage the hotel with great commitment, with the assistance of Michael Nessizius, Barbara's husband. Our Rooms Hotel Cortina has 45 modern and comfortable rooms, equipped with telephone, cable TV and mini-bar. In the bathroom, you will find a bathtub or a shower, and a hairdryer. At the reception desk, we have a stock of essential toiletries, if needed. We provide broadband Internet in the rooms on request. It costs 3 EURO/30 minutes, 7 EURO/3 hours or 15 EURO/day. Children up to the age of 11 can stay in the room free of charge. Our rich buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, and it contains coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juices, variety of breads, cold meats and assorted cheeses, cakes and pastries, spreads, marmalade, cereals and fresh fruit. Additional Information Being a guest of a family-run hotel, you will be served by a committed staff during your stay here. We will help you purchase theater, opera and musical tickets, arrange sightseeing tour, etc. You can also reserve Vienna Sightseeing Tours prior to arrival. We have a nice hotel lounge, where you can take a seat during the day and plan your schedule, relax with a cup of coffee or tea. The snack bar is open till late night, serving small meals, quality beers and a variety of spirits. In addition, we also have a seminar room for up to 15 persons, with all the technical equipment necessary for a successful event. With a coffee break during the morning and the afternoon, it is available for a daily flat rate of 160 EURO. Video-beamer, projector, large screen and video camera are provided on request. Location, Transportation There are sufficient free parking spaces in the streets around Hotel Cortina, and you can leave your car here and access the city center by the underground. The station of U4 metro (station Ober St.Veit) is located within a few minutes walk from our hotel. If you are coming by car on the A1 motorway, turn right at the fourth light and proceed onto "Hietzinger Hauptstraße". From the A2, A3 or A4 motorways, follow the signs to Schönbrunn Palace after the "Wiental" exit. Turn left at the 9th light onto "Hietzinger Hauptstraße". If you are coming by airplane to Vienna, we can arrange a Private Taxi Transfer for you between the Vienna International Airport and Hotel Cortina.
