The most expensive grocery shops are Billa and Spar. Zeilpunkt and the Penny Market haven't got so high prices, more cheaper are Hofer and Lidl. Discount chains have only few shops int he city.
Cafés, pubs and other places of amusement have got a bit higher prices too. A coffe costs at least 2.5 Euros, a mug of beer 3 Euros. The entrance fee to dance halls costs 10 Euros and the prices of beverages inside are higher then in cafés.
There is menu time from 12. 30a.m to 1. 30p.m when you can have lunch at half the price in many fast-food restaurants.The classical fast-food in Vienna is bun with sausages. It is like hot-dog for 2 Euro.
