Description: Hotel-Pension Franz is a pleasant little hotel in the 9th district of Vienna, offering traditional Old-Viennese Baroque interior, modern facilities, spacious rooms and a rich self-service buffet breakfast. From our hotel, you can walk to the Ringtsrasse Boulevard in just one minute. Rooms We offer renovated, comfortable and spacious rooms, equipped with private shower, toilet, telephone, mini-bar and cable-TV. Some of the rooms are overlooking the Sigmund Freud Park and the Votiv Church, while some are facing the side-street. All of the rooms are thus very quiet. About Pension Franz We have a central location near the city center of Vienna. The Votiv Church is located right in front of the pension, while the Ringstrasse, Vienna University, Burgtheater, the City Hall and Schottentor square are close by. Metro line U2 stops close by (station Schottentor - Vienna University), and there are also several tram lines in the area: 1, 2, D, J, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42 and 43. It takes about 10 minutes from here to walk to Stephansdom, Graben and Kärntner Strasse. You can sign up for Vienna City Tours through our partner company, and you will be picked-up from the pension free of charge prior to tour departure. The tours usually end at the Vienna State Opera, so you can either walk back here or take public transportation. Let us know in advance if you need a pick-up from Vienna International Airport. The private transfer costs 29 EURO for 1-4 persons, and 49 EURO for 5-8 persons. SPECIAL PROMOTIONS 1) 3 nights special Book at least 3 nights and get a 15% reduction from the rate between June 15 and July 15, and again between November 1 and 30! 2) Family package We offer two double rooms with connecting doors for up to 6 persons at the special price of 145 EURO/2 rooms/night, including breakfast and local taxes. Both rooms have private shower and toilet. The package is valid for minimum 3 nights in the period between June 15 and July 15, and between November 1 and 30. For other periods, the rate is 165 EURO/2 rooms/night. 3) Family package 2 We can also offer a nice family room with space for 2 adults and 2 children (must be less than 14) at the special price of 99 EURO/room/night. A room for 5 persons costs 139 EURO/room/night. These offers are valid throughout the year. |
