Description: Welcome to the City-Hotel Goldene Krone in Innsbruck. We are located in the Maria Theresienstrasse, which is the largest shopping street of the city, near the Triumphpforte (Triumphal Arch), Innsbruck Casino and the Convention Center. From here, you can also walk easily to the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof). The Baroque building of our hotel offers tradition and modern facilities at the same time. The Rooms We have a total of 36 rooms with 70 beds, and they are equipped with private bathroom (shower and toilet), telephone, satellite TV and special sound-proof windows with 3 layers of glass. Room rates include breakfast and taxes. Children under the age of 3 can stay in the room free of charge. Half-board supplement is available upon request only, at the rate of 15,5 EURO/person. During the New Year's Eve, there is a supplement of 5 EURO/person. Check-in is from 2 p.m., and check-out is until 11 a.m. Baby cots are available for 7 EURO/night for children under the age of 2. The following room types are available: single room, double room, triple room (double bed and an extra bed) and superior double room. The superior double rooms are very spacious, with enough space for 4 persons, and a seating area. These rooms also offer a nice view of the Triumphpforte (Triumphal Arch). Additional Information About City-Hotel Goldene Krone The reception desk is open 24-hours a day. The building has an elevator. Parking for cars is available near the hotel for 7,5 EURO/day, and bus parking is also available on request. Wi-Fi Internet access is available at 2 EURO/hour in the common areas. There is also a small business center at Hotel Goldene Krone, where you can surf the web for 3 EURO/30 minutes. During the summer, we recommend the following programs for our guests: city tower, Kaiserliche Hofburg (Imperial Castle), Alpine Zoo, Ambras Castle, the Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens and the ski-jump ranks in Bergisel. You can purchase the Innsbruck Card for your stay and then entrance to the sights and public transportation will be free of charge. For the winter months, visit the ski slopes and tracks (a total of 270 Kms in the area) with the shuttle bus, which stops near Hotel Goldene Krone. During the Christmas period, we also recommend you to visit the traditional Christmas market of Innsbruck. NEWS, UPDATES, SPECIAL OFFERS Come to Innsbruck and enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere! There are two Christmas markets in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Goldene Krone, one very traditional in the Old Town and one modern in Maria-Theresien Street. The markets are open from the 15th of November until the 6th of January. Book your accommodation in Innsbruck at Hotel Goldene Krone with rates starting as low as 32 EURO/person/night in a double room!
