St. Stephen's Cathedral, the mostly visited sight of Vienna is located in the heart of the city. That is why the majority of the visitors is looking for accommodation in this area. Near by the cathedral you can find the tarnished 3-star Hotel Wandl offering 138 Viennese-style rooms and suites. Rooms with shower are smaller and the ones with bath tub are more spacious. The rates vary according to the room types.

The family owned Hotel Pension Neuer Markt is located for an approx. 3-5 minute walking distance from St. Stephen's Cathedral. There are 37 rooms available in this pension some of which overlook the Neuer Markt (new market). For those who prefer calm atmosphere the pension offers rooms overlooking Seilergasse or the courtyard. There is 24-hour reception in the pension.

Pension Suzanne offers accommodation half way between St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Opera House in a small, silent street. You can reserve single-, double, twin- and triple rooms as well as apartments in the pension. The guests can enjoy the rich buffet breakfast in the romantic breakfast room. We offer this pension for those who prefer calm atmosphere and traditional Viennese style.

Pension Dr. Geissler operating in a town house since 1964 is situated not far from Franz Josefs Kai (quay) approx. for a 5 minute walking distance from St. Stephen's Cathedral. The reception is located on the 8th floor. Of course there is an elevator in the building. The pension offers 23 rooms altogether most of which are with en suite facilities. There are also rooms in a lower price category but these are without shower and toilet.

For those who would like to be accommodated in the centre but prefer apartments to hotel rooms we recommend Apartments Apartments Rieemrgasse. These modern, high standard apartments are situated near by St. Stephen's Cathedral. You can find studios, medium-size two-room apartments and spacious three-room apartments in this building. There is internet access in each apartment. The owner of the apartments is very proud of the elevator, which has been operating in the building in its original state since the XIX. century.
