Description: Pension Hargita is a family-run, cheap pension with pleasant and quiet atmosphere in the city center of Vienna (7th district), right in the heart of the famous Mariahilfer Strasse. We have reasonably priced rooms and our pension is a great starting point whether you are on a business or a holiday trip in Vienna. As we are located in the center, the sights and important business addresses of Vienna can be reached easily from Pension Hargita. From the Westbahnhof (Western Train Station), you can walk to us in less than 10 minutes. The Opera, Albertina Museum, Stephansdom, Kärntner Straße, Graben, Naschmarkt and the Hofburg Palace can be reached on foot in 10-15 minutes. There is a metro stop directly in front of us, Zieglergasse station of metro line U3. Mariahilfer Strasse itself offers lots of shops, restaurants, cafés, and there is a supermarket near to us. Our Rooms All rooms of the pension are non-smoking, and they are equipped with color TV, bed linen and towels. Some of the rooms have ensuite facilities (shower and toilet), some are with toilet only (wash basin in the room, shower is shared and outside of the room), and some are with wash basin only (toilet and shower shared, outside of the room). We offer single, double and triple rooms of these types. We also have a large room which is suitable for families, as it has a double bed and two single beds. Rates include local taxes, but breakfast is optional at 5 EURO/person. Let us know in advance if you wish to have breakfast as well. During the New Year's Eve, we charge a 25% surcharge. Arrival From the airport, take the shuttle bus to Westbahnhof, then get on U3 underground in the direction of Simmering, and get off at the first stop, Zieglergasse Use exit Otto-Bauer-Gasse/Andreasgasse. We can also arrange an airport taxi transfer to/from Pension Hargita. From Westbahnhof, simply take U3 underground for 1 stop, Zieglergasse. From Südbahnhof, take bus 13A to Neubaugasse/Mariahilfer Straße, then walk along Mariahilfer Straße towards Westbahnhof (leftwards) until you get to Andreasgasse on your right (first corner). From Wien Mitte (City Airport Train terminal), take U3 underground in the direction of Ottakring and get off at station Zieglergasse. From the Gürtel, drive to Mariahilfer Straße in the direction of the inner city at Westbahnhof. Following the 4th traffic light, take a left turn into Andreasgasse. Parking Possibilities Our guests can choose from several possibilities. The Gerngross Garage is about 150 meters from the pension, and it costs around 20-25 EURO/day. It has 7 stories, so you will surely find a free spot. You can also pay by the hour, of course. The Apollo Garage is about a 5 minute walk away from the pension, and it costs 13 EURO/day. In the neighboring district (15th district), you can park your car on the street free of charge. It is located about 15 minutes walk away from Pension Hargita. Payment and Reservation Payment is to be made in cash in our pension. The reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card (Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard), or by an advance payment of 1 night by bank transfer. Cancellation policy in case of a bank transfer advance payment is the same, so you get your down-payment back (minus bank charges) if you cancel the booking within the cancellation deadline.
