Description: Hotel Korotan is a 3-star hotel in the center of Vienna, in the 8th district (Josefstadt). We offer modern and comfortable rooms at great rates, and parking places. Hotel Korotan is popular among students, tourists and businessmen from Austria, Slovenia and all over the world. Our building has been renovated in 1994, including the construction of an impressive reception hall, which now serves as a site for corporate and cultural events. If you stay at Hotel Korotan, you will have the chance to look at the picture, ceramics and other exhibitions that take place in our hotel. Rooms We offer the following room types: single room, single room with extra bed, double room for single use, double room and apartment for maximum 3 persons. Arrival From the Southern motorway, follow the Zentrum signs until you get to the Gürtel (Ring). Right after the railway tracks bridge, turn left and follow the sign Praha. After 5 kilometers, turn right at the Backsteinkirche (church) onto the Laudongasse, and Albertgasse will be the third street on the right. From the Western motorway, go straight until you get to the Schönbrunn Palace. Here, turn left onto Felberstraße, then drive to the Gürtel (Ring). From here, same as above. From the Southern Railway Station (Südbahnhof), take bus 13A to station Laudongasse, then go leftwards on Laudongasse in the direction of the Gürtel (Ring) until you get to Albertgasse on your right. Hotel Korotan will be 10 meters from the corner. From the Western Railway Station (Westbahnhof), take the metro to station Josefstädterstraße, then go along Josefstädterstraße in the direction of the center. Turn left at the third block onto Albertgasse. You can also take the tram nr. 5 from Westbahnhof to Florianigasse. From the Vienna International Airport (Schwechat-VIE), you can book a cheap airport transfer to Hotel Korotan. Passenger cars and minibuses are available for the transfers, and payment is to be made directly to the taxi driver. Additional Information About Hotel Korotan Discount for children: the first child up to the age of 6 can sleep free of charge in the room. Above the age of 7, the extra bed costs 25 EURO/night. If there is a second child in the room below the age of 6, there is an additional surcharge of 10 EURO/night. How to book the room: for a valid reservation, we need a credit card guarantee with credit card number and expiration. If you do not have a credit card, you can transfer the specified amount (will be sent to you in e-mail, usually the price of the first two nights) to our bank account prior to arrival. German Language Course In January and February, we organize a weekly German language course, which has classes between 9 a.m. and noon every day. The price is 310 EURO/person for 6 nights in a twin room (single rooms are available for a surcharge). Excursions and entrance tickets during city visits are not included in the price. Admission deadline for the course is the 30th of November. If there are less than 6 people interested in the course, it will not take place. More info available on request. |
