Description: Fürst Metternich Boutique Hotel is located in Vienna city center, in a side-street right next to Mariahilferstrasse, the longest shopping street in Vienna. We are only 100 meters away from the nearest underground station U3 (Zieglergasse), and within walking distance to the Western Railway Station (Westbahnhof). The hotel was built in 1897 in traditional Jugendstil, and forms an organic part of a row of such buildings. Charm and family-like atmosphere are the leading features of our three-star hotel. Our location makes us an ideal starting point for discovering the city on foot. The intimate atmosphere and friendly service will make your stay a memorable experience. Enjoy the symbiosis of Viennese charm and hospitality. The princely entrance gives you a first impression of traditional Vienna. The breakfast room offers a generous buffet breakfast, with self-service coffee machine with different coffee varieties. A computer with free Internet access is available for guests right next to the reception area. The building has an elevator. The reception is open 24 hours, and Vienna Cards are available for purchase. Rooms With their high ceilings, the rooms give an immediate impression of comfort combined with space. Practicality, patina and three-star facilities round off the picture. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. We also take account of preferences regarding bathtubs or showers. We offer 55 rooms altogether, out of which 30 are non-smoking, and 25 smoking. We have 6x single rooms, 1x twin room, 1x suite, 13x triple rooms and 34 double rooms. The rooms feature mini-bar, cable TV, radio, internet access in some rooms, direct dial telephone, safe, full-length mirror, desk, luggage rack, anti-allergy bedding and anti-allergy mattress. Cots and additional beds are available free of charge for children up to 12 years of age. Pets are not allowed in the rooms. Bathrooms The bathrooms feature bathtub or shower, WC, make-up mirror, hair dryer, liquid soap, shower curtain and air extractor. Barfly's American Bar Vienna's legendary American bar with over 1,200 brands of whiskey and 400 brands of rum, cigars, cocktails and music. Enjoy the Caribbean hospitality and unique atmosphere of the bar. Parking Guests can park their cars in the Museumsquartier public underground garage, which is about 400 meters away from the hotel. It costs 17 EURO for 24 hours. You can park your car for 10 minutes in front of the hotel for loading and unloading luggage. Ask the receptionist for a free 10-minute parking ticket. Parking on the street is not easy: the entire district is a city center parking zone, requiring a parking ticket from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Area Plenty of art and cultural sights can be reached within 10 minutes on foot: the Museum Quarter, including the Leopold Museum, the Museum of Modern Arts, the Architectural Center, Zoom Children Museum, the Viennese Hall of Arts is not very far away either. The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants, typical Viennese Beisl, cafés, shops, etc. |
