Description: Important: Hotel Palais im Schwarzenberg is closed throughout 2010 for renovation purposes. As an alternative, we recommend you to book a room either at the Hotel Hilton Plaza, or at the beautiful Hotel Palais Coburg Residenz, or at Pakat Suites Hotel. Hotel Palais im Schwarzenberg is located in the third district of Vienna, within walking distance of Karls Square, Schwarzenberg Square and the State Opera. We are also near the Heroes Square and the City Park. Come and experience the royal elegance in one of our 44 historical rooms and suits. Rooms and Suites Rooms in the main building are furnished with antique furniture, old paintings and engravings from the epoch. In the wing, you will find six park-rooms and suites, designed by the Italian architect, Paolo Piva. These rooms have a modern interior, which harmonizes perfectly with the Baroque notion of the Palais. The rooms and suites are equipped with private bathroom, toilet, hairdryer, mini-bar, radio, cable-TV, safe, telephone and air-conditioning. Conference Facilities Palais Schwarzenberg is a Baroque jewel in the heart of Vienna, and we have 5 conference rooms, a "Palais Terrasse" and the Schwarzenberg private park. The combination of these premises makes our hotel the premier conference and event address in Vienna. The "Blaue Salon" and "Clubraum" are available for smaller, more intimate events. Dining at Hotel Palais im Schwarzenberg Our "Terrassenrestaurant" is a must if you stay at our hotel. It has a glassed-in-terrace facing the Schwarzenberg Park, and it serves local and international gourmet meals. The "Palais Bar" is open throughout the day and it serves a variety of cocktails, drinks and fine wines, accompanied by light meals. Additional Information We have a 24-hour reception service. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the "Terrassenrestaurant", but it can also be delivered to your room. The historical gardens extend some 18 acres with jogging paths and resting lawn offering rambling ways and various options for sporting activities like jogging and tennis. Parking is free of charge for hotel guests in front of Palais Schwarzenberg. During your stay in Vienna, we recommend you to take part in one or more Vienna Sightseeing Tours. Also, if you come to Vienna by airplane, we would gladly organize an airport taxi transfer from Vienna International Airport (Schwechat VIE) to Hotel Palais im Schwarzenberg. More information |
